Bareilly: A blood donation camp was organised at the 300-Bed Regional Hospital in Bareilly under the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan”, marking the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public life and public service.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from public representatives, government officials, doctors, voluntary organisations, youth and local residents. Those who donated blood included MP Chhatrapal Singh Gangwar, Mayor Umesh Gautam, District Panchayat Chairperson Rashmi Patel, Meerganj MLA Dr DC Verma, Cantt MLA Sanjeev Agarwal, Member of the Legislative Council Bahoran Lal Maurya, State Women’s Commission member Pushpa Pandey, Prashant Patel, Divisional Commissioner Shambhu Kumar, District Magistrate Avinash Singh, Chief Medical Officer Dr Vishram Singh and Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Laik.

The initiative aimed to raise awareness about voluntary blood donation and ensure timely availability of safe blood for patients in need.
Health department teams conducted medical screening of donors and collected blood following prescribed safety and standard procedures. All donors were presented certificates in recognition of their contribution.

The district administration appealed to residents to participate in voluntary blood donation and other public welfare initiatives.
